Every day, Bastien crawls to Din's chair
And pushes his head into Din's legs, like a pussycat,
Until he is picked up and cuddled.
Afterwards, Basie does brum-brums
While Din tries to cook dinner.
When Papa comes home, it's time for more cuddles anew!

Swipes in for the object as though simply picking it up off the ground.
(Nobody looks like they're interested in this; I might just take it...)
And ends up with Lowan in bitter tears
At having something stolen yet again!

Lovingly doled out, lettuce and all, by Pop.

While Mummy and Papa scarf sundaes in the dark
And big brothers watch Toy Story and express perplexity at the ad breaks.

Old lolly legs
Is learning to walk
At the Ministry of Funny Walks.
Assisted footsteps see his legs shoot up at right angles to his hip,
And behind the walker, he can't help but get ahead of himself!
Running as fast as curled feet will take him,
Never noticing his tendency to keep falling on his knees,
Instead intently examining the walker
As though he always meant to do it.
